Nivel de conocimiento sobre la píldora del día siguiente en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa San Marcos, Cajamarca.

Abstract

La investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el conocimiento sobre la Píldora del día siguiente en adolescentes entre 13 y 15 años de la Institución Educativa San Marcos, Cajamarca 2023. El método de Tipo de investigación, descriptivo y transversal, el diseño fue descriptivo simple. La muestra la conforman 79 adolescentes mujeres entre 13 y 15 años. Los resultados muestran que el 54,4% tienen un nivel de conocimiento regular sobre el concepto de la píldora del día siguiente, sobre frecuencia y uso de la píldora el 53,2% tienen un nivel de conocimiento regular, respecto a los efectos secundarios el 49,4% tienen un nivel de conocimiento bueno y respecto al conocimiento sobre las contraindicaciones el 48,1% tienen un nivel de conocimiento regular. En conclusión, el nivel de conocimiento en las adolescentes de 13 y 15 años sobre la píldora del día siguiente es de regular a deficiente.

The objective of the research is to determine the knowledge about the Morning After Pill in adolescents between 13 and 15 years old from the San Marcos Educational Institution, Cajamarca 2023. The research method was descriptive and transversal, the design was simple descriptive. The sample consisted of 79 female adolescents between 13 and 15 years of age. The results show that 54.4% have a regular level of knowledge about the concept of the morning after pill, 53.2% have a regular level of knowledge about the frequency and use of the pill, 49.4% have a good level of knowledge about the side effects and 48.1% have a regular level of knowledge about the contraindications. In conclusion, the level of knowledge of adolescents aged 13 and 15 years about the morning after pill is fair to poor.
