Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir los factores asociados a la automedicación en los usuarios que acuden a la Botica Corazón de Jesús. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada, de diseño no experimental, la muestra se tomó a 180 usuarios. Los resultados revelan que el 57.2% de los usuarios tiene entre 30 y 59 años, el 35.0% se automedica por influencia familiar, el 50.6% por deficiente atención en el seguro, el 81.7% desconoce sobre medicamentos y el 56.7% los consume dos veces por semana. Respecto a los factores económicos, el 61.1% percibe ingresos mensuales entre 250 y 750 soles, el 89.4% tiene empleo, el 52.8% trabaja 8 horas diarias y el 86.7% considera alto el costo de una consulta médica. En conclusión, se logró describir los factores asociados en la automedicación en la botica corazón de Jesús Huancayo 2025.
The objective of this study was to describe the factors associated with self-medication among users who visit the Botica Corazón de Jesús pharmacy. The type of research was applied, with a non-experimental design, and the sample consisted of 180 users. The results reveal that 57.2% of users are between 30 and 59 years old, 35.0% self-medicate due to family influence, 50.6% due to poor insurance coverage, 81.7% are unaware of medications, and 56.7% consume them twice a week. Regarding economic factors, 61.1% have a monthly income between 250 and 750 soles, 89.4% are employed, 52.8% work 8 hours a day, and 86.7% consider the cost of a doctor's visit to be high.
