The main objective of this research was to demonstrate the in vitro bacterial activity of the ethanolic extract of Vaccinium corymbosum L (Blueberry) on Staphylococcus aureus, which was carried out in the city of Trujillo; the type of methodology used was inductive and transversal and the design was experimental; To develop the work, the plant sample of Vaccinium corymbosum L (Blueberry) had to be obtained, where its seal of authenticity and quality was verified; while the Staphylococcus aureus strain was obtained from the Microbiology laboratories of the National University of Trujillo. Cranberry ethanolic extracts were obtained in 50, 75 and 100%. This led us to the conclusion that the ethanolic extract of Vaccinium corymbosum L (Blueberry) has no antibacterial effect against the in vitro culture of Staphylococcus aureus
