Consumo de Sulfato Ferroso y Pigmentaciones Dentales en Pacientes que Acuden a un Centro de Salud, Ayacucho 2024.

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación del consumo de sulfato ferroso y pigmentaciones dentales en pacientes que acuden a un centro de salud, Ayacucho 2024. El método fue deductivo, nivel básico, no experimental cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo correlacional, la muestra estuvo conformada por 73 niños de entre 1 a 5 años con anemia. Los resultados muestran que del grupo de niños que han consumido sulfato ferroso por 1 y 2 meses no presentaron pigmentación dentaria; por 3 meses, el 19.18% no presentan pigmentación dentaria y el 6.85% sí, por 6 meses, todos (12.33% de los niños evaluados) presentan pigmentación dentaria. Y del grupo de los niños que han consumido sulfato ferroso por 7 meses, el 1.37% no presentan pigmentación dentaria y el 4.11% sí. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre el tiempo de consumo de sulfato ferroso y la presencia de pigmentación dentaria.The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the consumption of ferrous sulfate and dental pigmentations in patients attending a health center, Ayacucho 2024. The method was deductive, basic level, non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive and correlational. The sample consisted of 73 children between 1 and 5 years of age with anemia. The results show that of the group of children who have consumed ferrous sulfate for 1 and 2 months did not present dental pigmentation; for 3 months, 19.18% did not present dental pigmentation and 6.85% did; for 6 months, all (12.33% of the children evaluated) presented dental pigmentation. And of the group of children who have consumed ferrous sulfate for 7 months, 1.37% do not present dental pigmentation and 4.11% do. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the time of consumption of ferrous sulfate and the presence of dental pigmentation.
