Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación es comparar la efectividad del Diclofenaco y Ketoprofeno, aplicado por vía intramuscular, como profilaxis analgésica para lograr controlar el cuadro de dolor post operatorio inmediato en la extracción de terceros molares retenidos. El estudio fue clínico, observacional, longitudinal, la muestra final fue de 40 pacientes. Los resultados reportan que los valores de la intensidad del dolor al finalizar el procedimiento quirúrgico, a las 3º, 6º, 9º, 12º, 24º horas postoperatorias, según la Escala Visual Análoga. En conclusión, el Ketoprofeno, aplicado intramuscularmente como profilaxis analgésica es más efectivo que el diclofenaco.
The objective of the research is to compare the effectiveness of Diclofenac and Ketoprofen, applied intramuscularly, as analgesic prophylaxis to control immediate postoperative pain in the extraction of retained third molars. The study was clinical, observational, longitudinal, the final sample was 40 patients. The results report that the pain intensity values at the end of the surgical procedure, at the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 24th postoperative hours, according to the Visual Analog Scale. In conclusion, Ketoprofen, applied intramuscularly as analgesic prophylaxis is more effective than diclofenac.
