Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la alfabetización en salud y la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes crónicos de una botica privada de Chiclayo durante 2025. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 pacientes crónicos, evaluados mediante un cuestionario estructurado validado. Los resultados evidenciaron que la mayoría de los participantes presentó niveles moderados en ambas variables. La correlación de Spearman obtuvo un coeficiente ρ = 0.066 y un valor p = 0.513, Se concluyó que la alfabetización en salud no se relaciona directamente con la adherencia terapéutica, sugiriendo la influencia de factores económicos, familiares, clínicos y de acceso a medicamentos.
