Prescripción médica y el consumo de antibióticos en pacientes Covid-19 del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo

Abstract

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la prescripción médica y el consumo de antibióticos en pacientes COVID-19 del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. Fue de tipo descriptivo y tuvo un diseño trasversal, retrospectivo, tuvo una muestra fue de 363 recetas. Se obtuvo que el 0,0 % de las prescripciones de antibióticos no cumplieron en registrar toda la información del medicamento; por otra parte, el aspecto con el mayor incumplimiento fue de la vía de administración, la cual registró un 97 % de recetas y el antibiótico más consumido fue la Ceftriaxona (52,3 %). Se concluyó que la característica de prescripción de antibióticos que cumplió en la totalidad y al 100.00 % fue de firma y sello del prescriptor

The objective of this study was to evaluate the medical prescription and consumption of antibiotics in COVID-19 patients at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. It was descriptive and had a cross-sectional, retrospective design, with a sample of 363 prescriptions. It was obtained that 0.0 % of the antibiotic prescriptions did not comply in registering all the information of the drug; on the other hand, the aspect with the highest non-compliance was the route of administration, which registered 97 % of prescriptions and the most consumed antibiotic was Ceftriaxone (52.3 %).
