Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores de riesgo de diabetes mellitus tipo 2 que prevalecen en los usuarios que acuden a la Botica Yalufarma en la ciudad de Chiclayo durante el mes de noviembre del 2023. Con un enfoque cuantitativo, de corte transversal y prospectivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 69 mujeres y 40 varones. Los resultados respecto al riesgo de desarrollar DMT2 según el perímetro de su cintura existe riesgo de moderado a elevado en el 55% de los varones y 62.3% en las mujeres. En relación al índice de masa corporal de nuestros participantes, el 15,6% y el 45% se encuentra en obesidad y sobrepeso. En conclusión, los usuarios que acuden a la botica presentan riesgo moderado a elevado de desarrollar DMT2 por obesidad y sobrepeso.
