Abstract
El objetivo fue evaluar el conocimiento y actitudes sobre el uso de medicamentos genéricos en usuarios de la botica Vida & Salud J & R, Chancay 2024, utilizando una investigación básica no experimental con 175 usuarios y una encuesta como instrumento. El 29,1% de los usuarios son mayores de 47 años y el 60% son mujeres. El 80%-87,4% tiene buen conocimiento sobre medicamentos genéricos. El 67,4% los consume por su bajo precio, el 66,3% con frecuencia, y el 61,1% cree que los medicamentos de marca son más eficaces. En conclusión, la mayoría de los encuestados tiene un buen nivel de conocimiento y actitud positiva hacia los genéricos, especialmente mujeres y mayores de 47 años.
The objective was to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes on the use of generic drugs in users of the Vida & Salud J & R, Chancay 2024 pharmacy, using a basic non-experimental research with 175 users and a survey as an instrument. The 29.1% of the users were older than 47 years and 60% were women. 80%-87.4% have good knowledge about generic drugs. 67.4% consume them because of their low price, 66.3% frequently, and 61.1% believe that brand-name drugs are more effective. In conclusion, the majority of respondents have a good level of knowledge and positive attitude towards generics, especially women and those over 47 years of age.
