Efecto antimicótico del aceite esencial de Zingiber officinale (kión) frente a Cándida albicans ATCC in vitro

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto antimicótico del aceite esencial de Zingiber officinale (KIÓN) frente a Candida albicans ATCC in vitro. El aceite esencial se obtuvo mediante la técnica de extracción Soxhlet, para la determinación del efecto antimicótico se empleó la técnica de Kirby Bauer. los resultados mostraron que El aceite de kion obtuvo halos de inhibición de 25,75 mm para el 100%, 22,29 mm para el 50%, el control positivo de 28,93 mm. se concluye que el aceite de Zingiber Officinale (kion) presenta efecto antimicótico contra Candida albicans a las concentraciones de 100% y 50%The objective of the study was to determine the antifungal effect of the essential oil of Zingiber officinale (KION) against Candida albicans ATCC in vitro.
