Factores asociados y adherencia al tratamiento en usuarios diabéticos de la Botica Vásquez, provincia de Leoncio Prado, Huánuco, 2025

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo estimar el nivel de adherencia y evaluar su asociación con factores sociodemográficos y clínicos en usuarios diabéticos que acudieron a la Botica Vásquez 2025. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo, observacional, descriptivo analítico y de corte transversal. La población fueron 120 usuarios diabéticos, la muestra fue censal. Los resultados indicaron un predominio femenino (55%) y bajos niveles educativos. Respecto a la adherencia, el 43,48% presentó un nivel medio, el 32,61% bajo y el 23,91% alto. El análisis estadístico reveló que no se hallaron asociaciones significativas con la adherencia, salvo el estado civil. Se concluyó que, aunque no se hallaron asociaciones, se identificaron tendencias que reflejan la necesidad de fortalecer la educación y el apoyo terapéutico para prevenir futuras complicaciones.

The study aimed to estimate the level of adherence and evaluate its association with sociodemographic and clinical factors among diabetic patients visiting Botica Vásquez 2025. The methodology employed a quantitative, observational, descriptive-analytical, and cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 120 diabetic patients, and a census sample was used. The results showed a predominance of women (55%) and low levels of education. Regarding adherence, 43.48% of participants showed a medium level, 32.61% a low level, and 23.91% a high level. Statistical analysis revealed no significant associations with adherence, except for marital status. It was concluded that, although no significant associations were found, trends were identified that highlight the need to strengthen education and therapeutic support to prevent future complications.
