Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la calidad de vida y el autocuidado en adultos mayores usuarios del Puesto de Salud de Machente, Ayacucho - 2025. La metodología correspondió a un estudio de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra está conformada por 60 adultos mayores, seleccionados mediante muestreo censal. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 65% de los adultos mayores presentó una calidad de vida de nivel medio, mientras que el 73% mostró un nivel medio de autocuidado. Asimismo, al analizar la relación entre ambas variables mediante la prueba exacta de Fisher, se obtuvo un p-valor de 0,001, siendo menor a 0,05. En conclusión, se determinó que existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la calidad de vida y el autocuidado en adultos mayores usuarios del Puesto de Salud de Machente, Ayacucho - 2025.
This research aimed to determine the relationship between quality of life and self-care in older adults using the Machente Health Post in Ayacucho, Peru, in 2025.
