Enseñanza de técnica de cepillado dental en la reducción de biofilm en escolares de una Institución Educativa - Ayacucho 2025

Abstract

El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar el efecto de la enseñanza de técnicas de cepillado dental en la reducción de biofilm en escolares de la Institución Educativa Privada El Nazareno - Ayacucho 2025. Respecto a su metodología el estudio fue de tipo básico, de diseño preexperimental (un grupo pretest-postest). La muestra fue seleccionada bajo el diseño probabilístico y estuvo constituida por 54 escolares de 6 a 9años. En cuanto a los resultados clasificados por sexo El valor de T fue 22 y el p-valor fue 0.000 en ambos grupos, y en cuanto a los que se clasifico por edad el valor de p fue menor a 0.05. La prueba T realizada mostró que hubo una reducción significativa del biofilm después de la intervención educativa. El p-valor de 0.000 (p < 0.05) indicó que la diferencia entre el biofilm inicial y el final fue estadísticamente significativa.

The objective of the following research is to determine the effect of teaching toothbrushing techniques on reducing biofilm in schoolchildren at the El Nazareno Private Educational Institution - Ayacucho 2025. In terms of methodology, the study was basic, with a pre-experimental design (one pretest-posttest group). The sample was selected using a probabilistic design and consisted of 54 schoolchildren aged 6 to 9 years. In terms of the results classified by sex, the T-value was 22 and the p-value was 0.000 in both groups, and in terms of those classified by age, the p-value was less than 0.05. The T-test showed that there was a significant reduction in biofilm after the educational intervention.
