Abstract

La investigación es de tipo descriptivo transversal; diseño no experimental. Objetivo. Determinar la incidencia de automedicación con ansiolíticos en jóvenes estudiantes de 18 a 25 en el distrito de Ate Vitarte - Lima 2021, la muestra constituida por 237 jóvenes. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario, validado por Expertos y confiabilidad (Alfa de Cronbach),resultando que el 62,9% de los jóvenes se automedican con ansiolíticos, el 41,4% lo hace habitualmente, el 51,48% lo hace porque no tiene dinero, el 57,4% tienen un nivel socioeconómico Medio; el 48,95% lo consumía por insomnio; y el ansiolítico más consumido fue el Alprazolam, Conclusión, se logró determinar que la prevalencia de automedicación con ansiolíticos ya sea por iniciativa propia o por recomendación de terceros en los jóvenes estudiantes de 18 a 25 del distrito de Ate Vitarte, es 62,9%.
The research is descriptive cross-sectional; non-experimental design. Objective. To determine the incidence of self-medication with anxiolytics in young students from 18 to 25 in the district of Ate Vitarte - Lima 2021, the sample consisted of 237 young people. The instrument used was a questionnaire, validated by experts and reliability (Cronbach's alpha), showing that 62.9% of the young people self-medicate with anxiolytics, 41.4% do it habitually, 51.48% do it because they do not have money, 57.4% have a medium socioeconomic level, 48.95% use it because they do not have money, 57.4% have a medium socioeconomic level; In conclusion, it was determined that the prevalence of self-medication with anxiolytics, either on their own initiative or on the recommendation of third parties among young students between 18 and 25 in the district of Ate Vitarte, is 62.9%.
