Abstract
El presente trabajo académico tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y las prácticas sobre alimentación complementaria en madres de niños menores de 36 meses del Centro de Salud Río Negro, Satipo, 2026. La investigación fue de tipo básica, con diseño no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población y muestra censal estuvieron conformadas por 60 madres. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 65% presentó un nivel de conocimiento medio sobre alimentación complementaria, el 25% un nivel alto y el 10% un nivel bajo. Asimismo, el 75% mostró prácticas inadecuadas y el 25% prácticas adecuadas. Se encontró una correlación positiva moderada entre las variables estudiadas (Rho de Spearman = 0,463; p = 0,000). Se concluye que existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el conocimiento y las prácticas sobre alimentación complementaria en las madres participantes.
This academic study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices regarding complementary feeding among mothers of children under 36 months of age at the Río Negro Health Center in Satipo, 2026. The research was basic, with a non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The population and census sample consisted of 60 mothers.
