Conocimiento y actitudes sobre la vacuna contra el Virus del Papiloma Humano en Madres del Centro de Salud de Sicaya-2023.

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre la vacuna contra el virus del papiloma humano en madres del centro de salud de Sicaya-2023. El tipo de investigación fue básico, diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal, la muestra estuvo conformada por 70 madres. Los resultados indican que los conocimientos de las madres fueron en su mayoría bajos (52,9 %) y las actitudes fueron inadecuadas (44,3%) en gran parte. El 44,3% (31) tuvieron conocimiento bajo y presentaron actitudes inadecuadas; el 21,4% (15) tuvieron conocimiento alto y presentaron actitudes adecuadas; el 21,4% (15) tuvieron conocimientos medio y presentaron actitudes regulares. En conclusión, existe relación entre los conocimientos y actitudes sobre la vacuna contra el virus del papiloma humano en madres.

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about the human papillomavirus vaccine in mothers of the Sicaya-2023 health center. The type of research was basic, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional design; the sample consisted of 70 mothers. The results indicate that the knowledge of the mothers was mostly low (52.9%) and attitudes were inadequate (44.3%) to a large extent. The 44.3% (31) had low knowledge and presented inadequate attitudes; 21.4% (15) had high knowledge and presented adequate attitudes; 21.4% (15) had medium knowledge and presented regular attitudes. In conclusion, there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about the human papillomavirus vaccine in mothers.
