Abstract
El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar si existe diferencia significativa entre el cepillado con la técnica de Bass modificado y Stillman en los alumnos del 6to de primaria de la I.E colegio Nuestra Señora de Fátima Chancay. El método de investigación corresponde a un nivel descriptivo, con un diseño experimental de corte transversal; la ficha de recolección de datos fue el índice de O´Leary y el programa SPSS versión 24.0 . Los Resultados mostraron un 56,72% ± 27,87 en la técnica de Bass modificado y en la técnica de Stillman 46,82% ± 21,64. No se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambas técnicas (p=0,123). En conclusión, ambas técnicas son efectivas para el control del Biófilm, siendo la técnica de Stillman la más eficaz.
