Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 que acuden al Hospital Carlos Cornejo Rosello Vizcardo de la provincia de Azángaro-Puno en el año 2023. Al desarrollar la investigación empleamos un diseño no experimental, prospectivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 68 pacientes diagnosticados con diabetes tipo 2. Los resultados muestran que los hábitos alimentarios de los pacientes con diabetes tipo 2, las bebidas azucaradas y las harinas son las que más consumen, con un 52,9% y un 47,1% respectivamente. La tasa de adherencia fue del 35,3%. Se concluyó que la tasa de adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes diabéticos tipo 2, es baja.
The aim of this study was to determine adherence to pharmacological treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus attending the Carlos Cornejo Rosello Vizcardo Hospital in the province of Azángaro-Puno in the year 2023. In developing the research we used a non-experimental, prospective and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 68 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The results show that in the dietary habits of patients with type 2 diabetes, sugary drinks and flour are the most consumed, with 52.9% and 47.1% respectively. The adherence rate was 35.3%. It was concluded that the rate of adherence to pharmacological treatment in type 2 diabetic patients is low.
