Conocimiento y actitud sobre el manejo de pacientes portadores de VIH en cirujanos dentistas – Arequipa 2021

Abstract

En la presente investigación se concreta como objetivo, determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud en el manejo de pacientes portadores de VIH en cirujanos dentistas de Arequipa 2021. El estudio está enfocado en una investigación cuantitativa, de diseño descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 102cirujanos dentistas que laboran en el distrito de Arequipa. Para la recolección de la información se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento fue un cuestionario virtual. El estudio concluyó en que no existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud en el manejo de pacientes portadores de VIH en cirujanos dentistas de Arequipa 2021 (p-valor = 0,892)The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude in the management of HIV patients in dental surgeons in Arequipa 2021. The study is focused on a quantitative research, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 102 dental surgeons working in the district of Arequipa. The survey technique was used to collect the information and the instrument was a virtual questionnaire. The study concluded that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude in the management of HIV patients in dental surgeons in Arequipa 2021 (p-value = 0.892)
