Conocimiento y prácticas preventivas sobre el dengue en personas que acuden al Centro de Salud de Mazamari Junín 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas preventivas sobre el dengue en personas que acuden al Centro de Salud de Mazamari, Junín, 2025. La metodología fue de tipo básica, con diseño no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra fue realizada por 123 participantes, seleccionados mediante muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 66,7% de los participantes presentó un nivel de conocimiento alto y el 71,5% mostró prácticas preventivas adecuadas. Asimismo, se obtuvo una correlación positiva moderada y significativa (Rho = 0,556; p = 0,000). Se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre el conocimiento y las prácticas preventivas frente al dengue; es decir, a mayor nivel de conocimiento, mejores prácticas preventivas en los usuarios del Centro de Salud de Mazamari.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and preventive practices regarding dengue fever among people attending the Mazamari Health Center in Junín, Peru, in 2025. The methodology was basic, with a non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 123 participants, selected through simple random sampling. The results showed that 66.7% of the participants had a high level of knowledge and 71.5% demonstrated adequate preventive practices. A moderate and significant positive correlation was also found (Rho = 0.556; p = 0.000). It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and preventive practices regarding dengue fever; that is, a higher level of knowledge is associated with better preventive practices among users of the Mazamari Health Center.
