Intervención Educativa para conocer sobre métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes de obstetricia de una Universidad Privada, Huancayo-2025.

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la influencia de una intervención educativa en el conocimiento sobre métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes de Obstetricia. Se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo con diseño preexperimental de un solo grupo, aplicando mediciones antes y después. La muestra estuvo conformada por 52 estudiantes del primer semestre. Para el análisis se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica de Wilcoxon con un nivel de significancia de 0,05. En el pre test, predominó el conocimiento deficiente (40,4%), seguido del regular (32,7%) y bueno (26,9%). Tras la intervención, el nivel bueno aumentó significativamente a 88,5%, mientras que el regular descendió a 7,7% y el deficiente a 3,8%. Los resultados evidencian una mejora notable en el aprendizaje. La prueba estadística mostró un valor p = 0,000, indicando significancia. Se concluye que la intervención educativa influyó positivamente en el conocimiento sobre métodos anticonceptivos.

The study aimed to evaluate the influence of an educational intervention on knowledge of contraceptive methods among obstetrics students. It was conducted using a quantitative approach with a single-group, pre-experimental design, employing pre- and post-intervention measurements. The sample consisted of 52 first-semester students. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used for data analysis, with a significance level of 0.05. In the pre-test, poor knowledge predominated (40.4%), followed by fair (32.7%) and good (26.9%). After the intervention, the good level increased significantly to 88.5%, while fair knowledge decreased to 7.7% and poor knowledge to 3.8%. The results demonstrate a notable improvement in learning. The statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000, indicating significance. It is concluded that the educational intervention positively influenced knowledge of contraceptive methods.
