Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el estrés y la depresión en adolescentes de la institución educativa Mariscal Cáceres Santiago de Tucuma – Tayacaja- Huancavelica, 2025. Metodología: fue de tipo básico, nivel correlacional con diseño no experimental de corte transversal, con una población de 60 adolescentes y la muestra fue censal. Se empleó la encuesta. Resultados: se identificó que el nivel de estrés en adolescentes de la institución educativa Mariscal Cáceres de Tucuma fue moderado con el 60,0% y el nivel de depresión ha sido leve con el 55,0%. Al relacionar ambas variables con la prueba Spearman se obtuvo un coeficiente de Rho= 0,903 y un valor de p=0,000. Conclusión: se determinó que existe relación positiva muy alta entre el nivel de estrés y depresión en adolescentes (Rho = 0,903, p=0,000).
