Uso de Anticoncepción Oral de Emergencia y Alteración del Ciclo Menstrual en Estudiantes de una Institución Educativa Sapallanga – Huancayo 2024.

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre el uso de anticoncepción oral de emergencia y alteración del ciclo menstrual en estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Particular Mundial de Sapallanga- Huancayo 2024. El método tipo básico, nivel correlacional, no experimental. La muestra fue conformada por 80 estudiantes. Los resultados muestran que el 13.8% de las estudiantes si usaron el anticonceptivo oral de emergencia; las alteraciones del ciclo menstrual más frecuentes en el estudio se muestran según la dimensión frecuencia del ciclo menstrual un 31.3% presenta un ciclo menstrual inferior a los 21 días. Dimensión duración un 20% presenta un flujo menstrual mayor a los 8 días; así mismo en el volumen del ciclo menstrual un 15% tiene un volumen mayor a los 80 ml. En conclusión, existe relación significativa entre las variables de estudio, con un valor del Chi-cuadrado es 0. 000.

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the use of emergency oral contraception and alteration of the menstrual cycle in students of the Institución Educativa Particular Mundial de Sapallanga- Huancayo 2024. The method was basic, correlational, non-experimental. The sample consisted of 80 students. The results show that 13.8% of the students did use the emergency oral contraceptive; the most frequent alterations of the menstrual cycle in the study are shown according to the dimension frequency of the menstrual cycle, 31.3% present a menstrual cycle of less than 21 days. In the duration dimension, 20% presented a menstrual flow greater than 8 days; likewise in the volume of the menstrual cycle, 15% had a volume greater than 80 ml. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the study variables, with a Chi-square value of 0.000.
