Abstract
Automedicación es un problema a nivel mundial, el Objetivo: determinar en qué medida el nivel de factores de automedicación y efectos adversos de claritromicina, metodología: tipo de investigación básica, prospectivo, transversal y observacional, la población: 400 usuarios que acudieron; la muestra: 132 usuarios, el instrumento fue: cuestionarios, factores predisponentes para automedicación con 22 preguntas, validados por juicio de expertos, confiabilidad Alfa de Cronbach, los resultados No van atenderse con el médico, la mayoría considera leve el mal en 37,88%, tiempo que invierte para ir a un centro de salud es 3h a más en 69,70%. Conclusiones: en farmacias adquieren medicamentos en 68,94%. Razones por que se automedicó con claritromicina fue: desconocen RAMS en 66,67%. Factores predisponentes considerados en estudio determinan la automedicación
