Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la empatía del profesional de enfermería y la calidad de atención a los pacientes post pandemia del Hospital de Chota, 2024. El estudio fue de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra fue censal conformada por toda la población del estudio, Se utilizó la encuesta como técnica de recolección de datos. Se aplicaron dos cuestionarios previamente validados. Los resultados mostraron que el 77,4% presentó un nivel medio de empatía y el 4,8% un nivel bajo. Respecto a la calidad de atención, el 53,2% la percibió como regular y el 6,5% como mala. Se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre la empatía del profesional de enfermería y la calidad de atención en el contexto post pandemia.
The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the empathy of nursing professionals and the quality of care provided to post-pandemic patients at the Hospital de Chota, 2024. A survey was used as the data collection technique. Two previously validated questionnaires were administered. The results showed that 77.4% had a medium level of empathy and 4.8% had a low level.
