Abstract
El presente trabajo académico tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los conocimientos y prácticas de alimentación complementaria en madres de lactantes del Centro de Salud de Huancán, Huancayo 2024. La investigación fue de tipo básica y un diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La muestra fue conformada por 70 madres que acudieron al centro de salud de Huancán. Los resultados muestran que el 56% de las madres tuvieron conocimientos altos sobre la alimentación complementaria y el 53% de las madres realizaron practicas adecuadas sobre la alimentación complementaria. En conclusión, se determinó que, si existe relación significativa directa moderada con un Rho de Spearman de 0,415 entre los conocimientos y prácticas de alimentación complementaria en madres de lactantes del Centro de Salud de Huancán.
The objective of this academic study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices of complementary feeding among mothers of infants at the Huancán Health Center in Huancayo 2024. The research was basic in nature and used a non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 70 mothers who attended the Huancán health center. The results show that 56% of mothers had high knowledge of complementary feeding and 53% of mothers practiced appropriate complementary feeding. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a moderate direct relationship with a Spearman's Rho of 0.415 between knowledge and practices of complementary feeding among mothers of infants at the Huancán Health Center.
