Ansiedad y adherencia al tratamiento odontológico en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, 2021.

Abstract

El objetivo general de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y la adherencia al tratamiento odontológico, la muestra fue tomada en 70 pacientes atendidos en el Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho 2021. Este estudio fue de diseño básico descriptivo y entrelazado a nivel correlacional. Según los datos obtenidos en los resultados el 31,4% presentaron baja ansiedad, el 45,7% presentaron ansiedad moderada y el 22,9% presentaron alta ansiedad. La adherencia al tratamiento según el género el 81,8% de las mujeres no sigue el tratamiento y el 58,3% de los hombres no sigue el tratamiento odontológico. En conclusión, existe asociación entre la ansiedad y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho 2021.

The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and adherence to dental treatment. The sample was taken from 70 patients treated at the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho 2021. This study had a basic descriptive design and was intertwined at a correlational level. According to the data obtained in the results, 31.4% presented low anxiety, 45.7% presented moderate anxiety and 22.9% presented high anxiety. Adherence to treatment according to gender, 81.8% of the women did not follow the treatment and 58.3% of the men did not follow the dental treatment. In conclusion, there is an association between anxiety and adherence to treatment in patients treated at the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho 2021.
