Nivel de Adherencia al Tratamiento en Niños Asmáticos que Acuden al Hospital Militar Central Lima.

Abstract

El objetivo es determinar el nivel de prevalencia y los factores asociados a la adherencia terapéutica en niños asmáticos que acuden al Hospital Militar Central Lima. El método es aplicada, cuantitativo, retrospectivo, transversal, no experimental de nivel descriptiva, correlacional, la muestra lo constituyeron 103 niños con diagnóstico de asma bronquial. Los resultados muestran que el 55,3% son del género masculino y el 75,7% tienen entre 5 a 10 años; el ingreso económico del padre son factores socio-demográficos; el apoyo familiar al paciente, la duración del tratamiento, los efectos adversos, la autopercepción de la gravedad y la presencia de síntomas son factores de la enfermedad asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento antiasmático en niños asmáticos. En conclusión, se determinó que el 56,3% de los niños asmáticos fueron adherentes al tratamiento.

The objective is to determine the level of prevalence and the factors associated with therapeutic adherence in asthmatic children attending the Hospital Militar Central Lima. The method is applied, quantitative, retrospective, retrospective, cross-sectional, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, and the sample consisted of 103 children diagnosed with bronchial asthma. The results show that 55.3% are male and 75.7% are between 5 and 10 years old; the economic income of the father are socio-demographic factors; family support to the patient, duration of treatment, adverse effects, self-perception of severity and presence of symptoms are factors of the disease associated with adherence to antiasthmatic treatment in asthmatic children. In conclusion, it was determined that 56.3% of asthmatic children were adherent to treatment.
