Abstract
El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento en salud bucal y el nivel de educación en cuidadores y padres de familia en dos establecimientos educativos de Lima y Callao en el 2023. El tipo de investigación fue correlacional, descriptiva de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 padres de familia y cuidadores. Nuestros resultados reportan que el 47% tiene conocimiento sobre salud bucal regular y el 18% tiene conocimiento alto sobre salud bucal, el 28% tiene grado de instrucción primaria; el 60% tiene grado de instrucción secundaria; el 12% tiene grado de instrucción superior. En conclusión; hay relación entre el nivel de conocimientos en salud bucal y el nivel de educación en cuidadores y padres de familia en dos establecimientos educativos de Lima y Callao en el 2023.
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of oral health knowledge and the level of education among caregivers and parents in two educational establishments in Lima and Callao in 2023. The type of research was correlational, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 200 parents and caregivers. Our results show that 47% have regular knowledge of oral health and 18% have high knowledge of oral health, 28% have a primary education level, 60% have a secondary education level, and 12% have a higher education level.
