Abstract
Este estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar frecuencia de interacciones farmacológicas en recetas médicas de adultos mayores atendidos en una Cadena de Boticas, Lima 2021; el cual fue descriptivo, retrospectivo-transversal, en una muestra de 218 recetas médicas. Los resultados mostraron que el 24.3 % de las recetas presentaron interacciones farmacológicas; concluyéndose que la frecuencia de interacciones prevaleció en las edades entre 60 a 69 años, en el sexo femenino y en recetas con más de 5 medicamentos; siendo los medicamentos más prescritos la combinación de dexametasona-diclofenaco; así también prevalecieron las interacciones de tipo farmacodinámico y de severidad moderada
The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of pharmacological interactions in medical prescriptions of older adults treated in a chain of drugstores, Lima 2021; the study was descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional, in a sample of 218 medical prescriptions. The results showed that 24.3 % of the prescriptions presented pharmacological interactions; it was concluded that the frequency of interactions prevailed in the 60-69 age group, in the female sex and in prescriptions with more than 5 drugs; the most prescribed drugs were the combination of dexamethasone-diclofenac; there were also prevalent interactions of pharmacodynamic type and of moderate severity
