Conocimiento del cuidado de la piel frente al uso de protector solar en usuarios de la Botica Ahorro Farma – Lima, 2023

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre el uso de protector solar y el nivel de conocimiento sobre el cuidado de la piel en usuarios de Ahorro Farma en Lima. Se desarrolló como investigación básica con enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo y diseño no experimental. La población fue de 100 usuarios y la muestra de 79. La validez del instrumento se estableció mediante juicio de expertos. El 49,4 % tenía entre 17 y 18 años y el 72,2 % eran mujeres. El 44,3 % presentó nivel intermedio, el 32,9 % alto y el 22,8 % bajo.Respecto al uso del protector solar, el 48,1 % lo emplea con moderación,el 30,4 % correctamente y el 21,5 % de forma incorrecta. Se encontró una relación significativa entre ambas variables (p < 0,05). Conclusión: existe relación significativa entre conocimiento y uso del protector solar.

The study aimed to analyze the relationship between sunscreen use and the level of knowledge regarding skin care among users of Ahorro Farma in Lima. It was conducted as basic research utilizing a quantitative approach, a descriptive level, and a non-experimental design. The population consisted of 100 users, and the sample comprised 79. The validity of the instrument was established through expert judgment. Of the participants, 49.4% were between 17 and 18 years of age, and 72.2% were female. Regarding knowledge levels, 44.3% demonstrated an intermediate level, 32.9% a high level, and 22.8% a low level. With respect to sunscreen use, 48.1% used it moderately, 30.4% correctly, and 21.5% incorrectly. A significant relationship was found between the two variables (p < 0.05). Conclusion: A significant relationship exists between knowledge of and the use of sunscreen.
