Abstract
El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar la relación entre caries dental y dieta cariogénica en preescolares de la Institución Educativa Integrada 30057 María de Fátima Huancayo 2023. Como método se utilizó el tipo básico, transversal, prospectiva, no experimental y de nivel correlacional, la muestra fue conformada por 110 preescolares. En los resultados los varones son los que presentan mayor aparición de caries según su Índice ceod frente a las mujeres, en cuanto a la dieta de caries las preescolares fueron las que presentaron un riesgo cariogénico alto. En conclusión, el factor de riesgo cariogénico es alto en ambos géneros.
The objective of the following research is to determine the relationship between dental caries and cariogenic diet in preschoolers of the Institución Educativa Integrada 30057 María de Fátima Huancayo 2023. The method used was basic, cross-sectional, prospective, non-experimental and correlational, the sample consisted of 110 preschoolers. In the results, males are the ones who present a higher caries occurrence according to their ceod index compared to females, as for the caries diet, preschoolers were the ones who presented a high cariogenic risk. In conclusion, the cariogenic risk factor is high in both genders.
