Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between cancer coping and quality of life in cancer patients at the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the Central Region during 2025. The research was conducted using the scientific method, with a quantitative approach, basic research, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. The sample consisted of 50 patients diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. Regarding the second variable, it was found that 70% of the patients presented a good quality of life. Inferential analysis using Spearman's rho test showed a correlation coefficient of 0.787 and a significance level of p = 0.000 < 0.05. This demonstrates a high, direct, and statistically significant positive correlation. It was concluded that higher levels of cancer coping are associated with a better quality of life in the patients evaluated.
