Abstract
The research aimed to determine the risk factors associated with non-adherence to immunizations in 5-year-old children at the Ocopilla Health Center in 2025. Methodology: This was a quantitative, basic, explanatory study with an analytical case-control design. The study population consisted of 151 children's medical records, from which a sample of 110 records was selected. Data were collected using document analysis with a data collection form on risk factors and non-adherence to vaccination, validated by expert review. Results: 63.63% (70) of the children were cases that did not adhere to the immunization schedule, while the controls represented 36.37% (40). The association between maternal, pediatric, and social risk factors was verified using bivariate logistic regression with the Odds Ratio (OR). P-values were greater than 0.05. Conclusion: It was determined that there are no risk factors associated with non-compliance with vaccination in 5-year-old children at the Ocopilla Health Center (p>0.05).
