Errores de prescripción de las recetas atendidas en la Farmacia Central del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas, 2023.

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación es evaluar los errores de prescripción en las recetas atendidas en la farmacia Central del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas entre enero a febrero del 2023. La Metodología de la investigación tuvo un diseño no experimental, retrospectivo y transversal. La muestra consistió en 384 recetas atendidas entre enero a febrero del 2023 y se empleó como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos. Los resultados reportaron los siguientes errores de prescripción en las recetas atendidas: datos del paciente (2.50%), datos del prescriptor (2.60%), datos del medicamento (20.90%) y el 3.60% de las recetas presentan ilegibilidad. Se concluye que el promedio de errores de prescripción en recetas atendidas en la farmacia central del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas entre enero a febrero del 2023, fue del 7.40%.

The objective of the research is to evaluate prescription errors in prescriptions filled at the Central Pharmacy of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases from January to February 2023. The research methodology had a non-experimental, retrospective and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 384 prescriptions filled between January and February 2023 and a data collection form was used as an instrument. The results reported the following prescription errors in the prescriptions filled: patient data (2.50%), prescriber data (2.60%), drug data (20.90%) and 3.60% of the prescriptions were illegible. It is concluded that the average number of prescription errors in prescriptions filled at the central pharmacy of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases from January to February 2023 was 7.40%.
