Adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 que acuden a la Botica Zifarma, Los Olivos, Lima 2024.

Abstract

El objetivo fue determinar si existe relación entre la adherencia al tratamiento y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 que acuden a la botica ZIFARMA, Los Olivos, Lima 2024. La metodología fue un estudio básico, no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal. La población son 250 pacientes; la muestra son 152 pacientes. Los resultados evidencian que el 51,3% de los partícipes presentan adherencia moderada al tratamiento de diabetes mellitus; en sus dimensiones se tiene que el 50,7% presentan cumplimiento regular al tratamiento farmacológico, el 51,3% presentan cumplimiento regular en el tratamiento no farmacológico, el 50,7% presentan cumplimiento regular en el seguimiento médico. En conclusión, existe relación entre la adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con DM2; p=0,00 < 0,05.

The objective was to determine whether there is a relationship between treatment adherence and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who attend the ZIFARMA pharmacy in Los Olivos, Lima 2024. The methodology was a basic, non-experimental, correlational cross-sectional study. The population consisted of 250 patients; the sample consisted of 152 patients. The results show that 51.3% of participants have moderate adherence to diabetes mellitus treatment; in terms of dimensions, 50.7% have regular compliance with pharmacological treatment, 51.3% have regular compliance with non-pharmacological treatment, and 50.7% have regular compliance with medical follow-up. In conclusion, there is a relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life in patients with DM2; p=0.00 < 0.05.
