Abstract
The objective of the following research is to determine the relationship between nutritional status and self-esteem in adolescents of the Fe y Alegría Educational Institution No. 66 of Azapampa - Chilca - Huancayo 2023. The method used was a descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The results showed that there is a relationship between nutritional status and self-esteem in adolescents. Spearman's correlation coefficient (rho) was 0.156, indicating a weak but positive relationship between the two variables. Furthermore, the p-value associated with this correlation is 0.036, indicating that the relationship is statistically significant at a significance level of 0, 05. In conclusion, although the correlation between these two variables is not very strong, there is a positive trend suggesting that adolescents with a better nutritional status tend to have slightly higher levels of self-esteem.
