Abstract
Objetivo determinar la relación entre lesiones bucales y hábitos de higiene oral en escolares de la Institución Educativa N° 30091 Virgen de Fátima, Pilcomayo 2024. Metodología de tipo básico, transversal, con diseño no experimental y correlacional. La muestra no probabilística por conveniencia de 105 alumnos de tercer y cuarto grado, entre 8 y 10 años. Los resultados mostraron que la mayoría fueron niñas de 9 años (52%), mientras que la menor proporción fueron varones de 8 años (33%). La lesión más frecuente fue la caries dental (63% en mujeres y 52% en varones), siendo menos frecuentes las fístulas en niñas (2%) y la gingivitis en varones (4%). En cuanto a los hábitos de higiene oral, el 57% de las mujeres presentaron hábitos buenos, mientras que el 57% de los varones hábitos malos. Se concluye que existe una asociación entre hábitos de higiene oral y la presencia de lesiones bucales en los escolares estudiados.
