Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto cicatrizante de una pomada elaborada a base del extracto hidroalcohólico de hojas secas de Rumex crispus L. en ratones albinos. El estudio fue de tipo experimental, cuantitativa y explicativa, utilizando un modelo murino con 30 ratones distribuidos en cinco grupos: control negativo, control positivo (Cicatricure gel) y con pomadas al 1 %, 5 % y 10 %. La evaluación del efecto se realizó mediante la prueba tensil del tejido reparado al octavo día. Los resultados demostraron que el extracto presentó metabolitos secundarios como flavonoides, taninos, compuestos fenólicos y saponinas. Asimismo, obteniéndose mayores efectos en las concentraciones al 5 % y 10 %, superando el efecto cicatrizante del Cicatricure gel. Se concluye que la pomada elaborada con Rumex crispus posee actividad cicatrizante y representa una alternativa fitoterapéutica prometedora.
The research aimed to evaluate the healing effect of an ointment made from the hydroalcoholic extract of dried Rumex crispus L. leaves in albino mice. The study was experimental, quantitative, and explanatory, using a murine model with 30 mice divided into five groups: negative control, positive control (Cicatricure gel), and ointments at 1%, 5%, and 10%. The effect was evaluated using the tensile test of the repaired tissue on the eighth day. The results showed that the extract contained secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, tannins, phenolic compounds, and saponins. Furthermore, the greatest effects were observed at the 5% and 10% concentrations, surpassing the healing effect of Cicatricure gel. It is concluded that the ointment made with Rumex crispus possesses healing activity and represents a promising phytotherapeutic alternative.
