Abstract
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento y la adherencia terapéutica en infecciones intrahospitalarias por parte del personal que presta atención en el Hospital Militar Central de Lima. El estudio es de tipo observacional, prospectivo, transversal y de diseño descriptivo. La muestra la constituyeron 79 profesionales. Los resultados respecto al conocimiento sobre infecciones intrahospitalarias por parte del personal el 32,9% de los profesionales consideran que la infección más frecuente es por las vías respiratorias, un 17,7% se da de forma óptima. En conclusión, el 60,8% de los profesionales indican que si se cumple con la medicación y este cumplimiento es de manera óptima en un 50,6%.
The aim of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and therapeutic adherence to hospital-acquired infections among the personnel providing care at the Hospital Militar Central de Lima. The study is observational, prospective, cross-sectional and of descriptive design. The sample consisted of 79 professionals. The results regarding the knowledge about intrahospital infections by the personnel 32.9% of the professionals consider that the most frequent infection is through the respiratory tract, 17.7% is optimal. In conclusion, 60.8% of the professionals indicate that they comply with medication and 50.6% of them do so optimally.
