Abstract
El estudio titulado: Autopercepción de la calidad de vida del adulto mayor con diagnóstico de cáncer sometido a quimioterapia ambulatoria. En el Instituto Nacional De Enfermedades Neoplásicas. 2020”. Objetivo: Determinar la autopercepción de la calidad de vida del adulto mayor con diagnóstico de cáncer sometido a quimioterapia ambulatoria. Material y Método: El estudio fue de nivel aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo simple de corte transversal. Población de estudio: conformado por 20 pacientes adultos mayores que recibieron Quimioterapia ambulatoria durante el mes de setiembre y octubre. Técnica e Instrumento: La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario WHOQOL-Bref de la OMS, el cuestionario multidimensional QLQ-C30; tomada de Candiotti Guzmán C. modificada. Resultados: Del 100%, 20 pacientes adultos mayores, el 60 % evidenciaron una autopercepción desfavorable de calidad de vida; el 35 % tienen una autopercepción medianamente favorable y 5 % tuvo una autopercepción favorable de la calidad de vida. Conclusiones: El mayor porcentaje de adultos mayores encuestados tiene una autopercepción desfavorable de la calidad de vida según dimensión física y psicoemocional, seguida por un porcentaje de autopercepción favorable en la dimensión social
The study entitled: Self-perception of the quality of life of older adults diagnosed with cancer undergoing outpatient chemotherapy. At the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases. 2020. Objective: To determine the self-perception of the quality of life of older adults diagnosed with cancer undergoing outpatient chemotherapy. Material and Method: The study was of application level, quantitative type, simple descriptive method of cross section. Study population: 20 elderly patients who received ambulatory chemotherapy during the month of September and October. Technique and Instrument: The technique was the survey and the instrument the WHOQOL-Bref questionnaire of the WHO, the multidimensional questionnaire QLQ-C30; taken from Candiotti Guzmán C. modified. Results: Of 100%, 20 older patients, 60% showed unfavorable self-perception of quality of life; 35% had moderately favorable self-perception and 5% had favorable self-perception of quality of life. Conclusions: The highest percentage of older adults surveyed has an unfavorable self-perception of quality of life according to physical and psycho-emotional dimensions, followed by a percentage of favorable self-perception in the social dimension
