Conocimientos y actitudes ante la fotoprotección en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa San Roque de Chambará - Concepción, Junín 2025

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre los conocimientos y las actitudes frente a la fotoprotección en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa San Roque de Chambará, Concepción, Junín, durante el año 2025. Se realizó un estudio de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 100 adolescentes y la muestra por 80, seleccionada mediante muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 75,0 % de los adolescentes presentó un nivel medio de conocimientos sobre fotoprotección y el 78,8 % mostró una actitud de indiferencia frente a esta práctica. Se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre los conocimientos y las actitudes frente a la fotoprotección, con una correlación positiva moderada según Spearman (Rho = 0,605; p = 0,000).The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward sun protection among adolescents at the San Roque Educational Institution in Chambará, Concepción, Junín, during the year 2025. A basic, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study was conducted. The population consisted of 100 adolescents, and the sample comprised 80, selected using simple random sampling. The results showed that 75.0% of the adolescents had a medium level of knowledge about sun protection, while 78.8% displayed an indifferent attitude toward this practice. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward sun protection, with a moderate positive correlation according to Spearman's rank correlation coefficient (Rho = 0.605; p = 0.000).
