Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar el efecto antibacteriano sinérgico del extracto etanólico de Morinda citrofilia L. asociado a ciprofloxacino frente a Staphylococcus aureus. Metodología: Aplicada, prospectiva de diseño experimental, el efecto antibacteriano sinérgico se determinó mediante difusión en pozo en placas con Agar Mueller Hinton. Resultados: Se obtuvo halos de inhibición de 7,71+0,34mm para el extracto de noni al 50%, de 11,52+0,31mm para el 100%, el ciprofloxacino 100mg/ml de 29,63+0,37mm; el efecto sinérgico entre el extracto de Morinda citrofilia L. al 50% y ciprofloxaino fue de 31,70+0,33mm y extracto de Morinda citrofilia L. al 100% y ciprofloxacino de 35,81+0,33mm. Conclusiones: El extracto de Morinda citrofilia L. asociado a ciprofloxacino frente a Staphylococcus aureus, presenta efecto sinérgico
