Abstract
The present study, quality control of 70° medical alcohol according to its own technique in pharmaceutical establishments in the city of Huancayo, 2021, was quantitative and descriptive. The design was non-experimental. The sample was represented by 15 samples of 70° alcohol, the type of sampling corresponds to non-probabilistic by convenience. Among the results of the 15 samples analyzed, 5 presented a pH of 6.0, that is, a pH of 5.5, only 3 samples met the adequate percentage of alcohol, and 3 samples showed a pH of 8.0 with a tendency to alkalinity. It can be concluded that the ethanol concentration and quality parameters of the alcohol according to the commercial brands analyzed do not correspond to 70°.
