Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar los factores asociados a la automedicación con AINEs en usuarios que asisten a la Botica El Rosario, distrito de Huayucachi, Huancayo, 2025. La metodología correspondió a un estudio de nivel descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico y diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 169 usuarios que acuden a la Botica El Rosario. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 50,9 % de los automedicados fueron hombres, el 29,6 % tenía entre 18 y 30 años y el 54,4 % contaba con educación superior no universitaria. Asimismo, el 63,9 % manifestó no tener fácil acceso a atención médica, el 42 % eran trabajadores eventuales y el 43,8 % percibía ingresos menores a S/ 1 030. Además, el 34,3 % acudía a la botica para obtener medicamentos, el 43,8 % seguía la recomendación de un familiar y el 31,4 % se dejaba influir por información de internet. Se concluye que los factores personales, económicos y sociales se encuentran asociados a la automedicación con AINEs en los usuarios estudiados.
The objective of the research was to determine the factors associated with self-medication with NSAIDs among users of the "El Rosario" pharmacy in the Huayucachi district, Huancayo, in 2025. The methodology involved a descriptive, basic, and non-experimental study using a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 169 users of the "El Rosario" pharmacy. The results showed that 50.9% of those who self-medicated were men, 29.6% were aged 18 to 30, and 54.4% had non-university higher education. Additionally, 63.9% reported lacking easy access to medical care, 42% were casual workers, and 43.8% earned an income of less than S/ 1,030. Furthermore, 34.3% visited the pharmacy to obtain medication, 43.8% followed a family member's recommendation, and 31.4% were influenced by information found on the internet. It is concluded that personal, economic, and social factors are associated with self-medication with NSAIDs among the users studied.
