Adherencia al Tratamiento en Pacientes con Depresión en el Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión – Huancayo, 2025.

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar las características de la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con depresión atendidos en el Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión – Huancayo, durante el año 2025. Se realizó una investigación de tipo básico, descriptivo y no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 200 pacientes, seleccionando una muestra de 132. El instrumento fue validado mediante juicio de expertos. Los resultados mostraron que el 63% vive en un entorno familiar y el 91% dispone de medicamentos. Predominaron mujeres adultas jóvenes, el 80% bien informadas y el 52% con actitud positiva hacia su tratamiento. Asimismo, el 91% presentó percepción favorable sobre la farmacoterapia. Se concluye que el 64% de los pacientes mostró alta adherencia, influenciada por el conocimiento de la enfermedad, la actitud positiva y la disponibilidad de medicamentos.

The study aimed to determine the characteristics of treatment adherence in patients with depression treated at the Daniel Alcides Carrión Regional Teaching Hospital in Huancayo during 2025. A basic, descriptive, non-experimental study was conducted. The population consisted of 200 patients, with a sample of 132 selected. The instrument was validated by expert judgment. The results showed that 63% live in a family environment and 91% have access to medication. Young adult women predominated, with 80% well informed and 52% with a positive attitude toward their treatment. Likewise, 91% had a favorable perception of pharmacotherapy. It was concluded that 64% of patients showed high adherence, influenced by knowledge of the disease, positive attitude, and availability of medications.
