Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el nivel de autocuidado en pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus II en el Hospital de Lircay- Huancavelica 2022. La metodología empleada fue un estudio de tipo descriptivo simple, de enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño de investigación no experimental, la población estuvo conformada por 30 pacientes con diagnóstico de diabetes mellitus tipo II. Como resultados se obtuvo en el nivel de autocuidado global encontramos un 56.6% en el nivel regular, 23.4% nivel malo y 20% bueno. En conclusión, los pacientes con diabetes presentan niveles de autocuidado con mayor frecuencia en el nivel regulares en la dimensión alimentación, cuidado farmacológico y cuidado de la piel y pies y en cuanto a la dimensión actividad física predominó el nivel de autocuidado en el nivel malo.

As results we obtained in the level of global self-care we found 56.6% at a fair level, 23.4% at a poor level and 20% at a good level. In conclusion, patients with diabetes present levels of self-care with greater frequency in the regular level in the dimensions of nutrition, pharmacological care and skin and foot care, and in the dimension of physical activity, the level of self-care was predominantly in the poor level.
