Polifarmacia y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes tipo 2 del hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión Huancayo 2022

Abstract

El objetivo es determinar la relación entre la polifarmacia y la adherencia al tratamiento de diabetes tipo 2 en pacientes del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión Huancayo. Como metodología fue prospectivo, descriptivo, correlacional, desarrollado en la ciudad de Huancayo. La muestra fue de 79 pacientes. Teniendo como resultados existe un predominio del género femenino en un 65,8%, el 44,3% sus edades son de 51 a 60 años, el 59.5% su grado de instrucción es el nivel secundario, el 49,4% son convivientes. Respecto a los fármacos más frecuentes involucrados en la polifarmacia de Diabetes tipo 2 en pacientes, se determinó que el 49,4% de los pacientes utilizan antidiabéticos y el 64,6% de los pacientes toman metformina. En conclusión, se determinó que el 68,4% de los pacientes tienen conocimiento medio al respecto.

The objective was to determine the relationship between polypharmacy and adherence to type 2 diabetes treatment in patients of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Huancayo Hospital. The methodology was prospective, descriptive, correlational, developed in the city of Huancayo. The sample consisted of 79 patients. The results showed a 65.8% female predominance, 44.3% were aged between 51 and 60 years, 59.5% had secondary education and 49.4% were cohabitants. Regarding the most frequent drugs involved in the polypharmacy of type 2 diabetes in patients, it was determined that 49.4% of the patients use antidiabetics and 64.6% of the patients take metformin. In conclusion, it was determined that 68.4% of the patients have average knowledge in this regard.
