Abstract
El objetivo fue evaluar la actividad antiinflamatoria tópica de una crema elaborada con el extracto hidroalcohólico de hojas secas de Azorella multifida (yareta) en ratones albinos. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, con diseño experimental y nivel explicativo. La muestra fue de 24 ratones albinos. Los resultados evidenciaron un efecto dosis-dependiente, alcanzando la formulación al 10% el mayor porcentaje de inhibición (50,57%), superando al diclofenaco gel 1% (38,86%). El análisis ANOVA mostró diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos (p < 0,001). Se concluye que la crema de Azorella multifida presenta actividad antiinflamatoria tópica, con mayor eficacia conforme aumenta su concentración.
The objective was to evaluate the topical anti-inflammatory activity of a cream formulated with a hydroalcoholic extract of dried *Azorella multifida* (yareta) leaves in albino mice. The study employed a quantitative approach and was of an applied nature, featuring an experimental design and an explanatory level. The sample consisted of 24 albino mice. The results demonstrated a dose-dependent effect; the 10% formulation achieved the highest percentage of inhibition (50.57%), surpassing that of 1% diclofenac gel (38.86%). ANOVA analysis revealed significant differences among the treatments (p < 0.001). It is concluded that the *Azorella multifida* cream exhibits topical anti-inflammatory activity, with efficacy increasing alongside the concentration.
