Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que intervienen en el incumplimiento del calendario de vacunación en menores de 5 años en Centro de Salud Cerro Candela 2022. Metodología, investigación básica, no experimental, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal, la población de estudio estuvo conformada por 298 niños menores de 5 años con una muestra de 169 niños menores de 5 años, se utilizó la técnica encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. Se obtiene que los factores que intervienen en el incumplimiento del calendario de vacunación de menores de 5 años, se observan que el factor sociodemográfico está ausente en un 55.4% y presente en un 44.6% (75), el factor cognitivo está ausente en un 68.2% (115) y presente en 31.8% (54), el factor institucional está ausente en 59.3% (100) y presente en 40.7% (69). Se concluye que el factor sociodemográfico tiene mayor porcentaje de presencia con un 44.6% seguido el factor institucional con un 40.7%, por último, el factor cognitivo con un 31.8%.
The objective of the research was to determine the factors involved in non-compliance with the vaccination schedule in children under 5 years of age at the Cerro Candela 2022 Health Center. Methodology, basic, non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional research, the study population consisted of 298 children under 5 years of age with a sample of 169 children under 5 years of age, the survey technique was used and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. It was obtained that the factors involved in non-compliance with the vaccination schedule of children under 5 years of age, it was observed that the sociodemographic factor was absent in 55.4% and present in 44.6% (75), the cognitive factor was absent in 68.2% (115) and present in 31.8% (54), the institutional factor was absent in 59.3% (100) and present in 40.7% (69). It is concluded that the sociodemographic factor has the highest percentage of presence with 44.6% followed by the institutional factor with 40.7%, and finally, the cognitive factor with 31.8%.
